Σχετικά με την Peli

I am a mother of a teenager, and after many years working in multinational companies, banks and NGOs, I made a conscious shift in my professional path. Moving on from corporate environments, I now work with the art of breathwork and the benefits that can be gained from using our breath consciously. This change in my daily life gave me time, and so the desire to share my language with people who want to learn it, was born.

I want to share my language in a calm and human way, so that everyone learns at their own pace and with a focus on what they truly need, whether it is a work meeting, a chat with the neighbours or everyday life at the supermarket and the office. As a parent of a teenager, I know what patience and meaningful communication mean and I believe that learning a language is, first and foremost, a relationship built on trust. My greatest satisfaction is seeing a student speak for the first time with confidence and smile.

About me
I’m a calm, patient Greek tutor, and I believe a language is learned best in a relaxed environment without pressure.
With a university degree and experience in multinational companies, banks and NGOs, I understand the professional language and practical needs of people wanting to speak Greek.

Who the lessons are for
My lessons are for non-Greek-speaking adults and teenagers, from complete beginners to advanced learners, whether you’re relocating, working with Greek colleagues, studying, or simply want to feel at home in everyday life.

Approach and methods
Every lesson is built around the student’s personal goal: if you need Greek for work, we focus on professional vocabulary, emails and meetings, and if you want to connect with friends, neighbours or colleagues, we practise everyday social conversation. I teach mainly through dialogue and real-life situations rather than memorising rules, and grammar is introduced only when it’s needed, explained simply with clear examples.

Lesson structure
A typical lesson begins with a relaxed chat and a quick review of the previous one, moves on to the main topic through vocabulary, useful phrases and role-play, and closes with a short recap. After each lesson, students receive written notes with the key vocabulary and phrases so they can revise at their own pace. I also use simple breathing techniques as a method to support focus and mental clarity: a minute or two at the start of the lesson helps students settle, concentrate and feel at ease about speaking, which makes learning smoother and more enjoyable.
