I am a native Spanish educator from Spain with over eight years of university-level teaching experience in the arts. I hold three master’s degrees in Film Directing, Cinematography, and Research in Contemporary Culture (Humanities).
For four years, I was the Academic Director of a Master’s Program in Art Direction and Scenography for Film — a program I wrote, designed, and developed from the ground up. In this role, I led the curriculum, mentored students in complex creative projects, and guided emerging artists in shaping their professional identities.
Alongside my academic work, I am a screenwriter and filmmaker, and I have designed and built sets for audiovisual productions. My career moves between intellectual research and practical artistic creation.
This dual perspective deeply informs my teaching. I approach language not as a mechanical system, but as a living cultural structure shaped by art, history, and contemporary society.
I value curiosity, depth, and thoughtful conversation. If you are interested in discovering Spanish as something alive — beyond textbooks and formulas — we will work beautifully together.

Learning a language should be a process of discovery and enjoyment.
In my lessons, we don’t just study Spanish — we experience it. We explore how Spanish is truly spoken in Spain, beyond what is often taught in academies or textbooks. There is a difference between academic Spanish and living Spanish, and understanding that difference is where real fluency begins.
We will develop your comprehension and confidence through conversation, but also through culture: contemporary music, cinema, art, literature, and everyday expressions. Language is shaped by society, rhythm, humor, and history — and that is what makes it exciting.
You will learn:
• How Spanish is naturally spoken in Spain
• The nuances between formal and informal registers
• Real conversational expressions
• Regional accents and dialectal variations
• Cultural context that gives meaning to words
If you are curious about Spain’s linguistic diversity, we can also explore differences between regions — and I can introduce you to Catalan as well.
My goal is to create a space where learning feels dynamic, thoughtful, and genuinely enjoyable. Progress comes not from pressure, but from curiosity and engagement.
These lessons are ideal for adults, professionals, creatives, and anyone who wants depth, not just vocabulary lists.
