About Me: Artist & Educator
I am a Cuban artist and a graduate of ISA (University of the Arts), an institution world-renowned for its academic excellence. My artistic practice is diverse, spanning from traditional oil painting as well as graphic and scenic design.
Throughout my career, I have been honored to participate in diferent exhibitions, most notably the Havana Art Biennial. While my work explores various mediums, the true pillar of my artistic voice—and what I am most passionate about—is the mastery of the foundations of drawing and painting.
My experience as a private tutor has yielded good results, particularly with students that start from scratch. I am driven by the desire to share the rigorous training I received, helping others find their own creative voice through a deep understanding of technique and theory. For me, teaching is not just about passing on skills; it is about empowering the next generation of artists to see the world through a more profound and expressive lens."

From Foundational Mastery to Artistic Language
My teaching philosophy goes beyond simple imitation; it is about analytical understanding. We begin by establishing the pillars of art: the foundations of composition and a rigorous base in drawing. I provide specific tools to enhance visual observation, helping students see like artists before they even touch the brush.
As we progress, we integrate the study of color theory, historical references, and artistic discourse. While my core focus is on figurative art, we will explore various mediums—including watercolor, oil, and acrylics—always tailoring the choice to the student’s personal goals and future interests.
My goal is to guide you toward technical mastery and the development of a unique artistic language. I believe in mastering the rules first, providing you with the discipline and skill required to eventually break them with intention and creative genius."
