I am Vasia. I am a Greek and English teacher and archaeologist with more than 10 years of teaching experience in both Greece and the UK. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching students from different backgrounds, ages, and cultures, and every student has taught me something new too.
For me, teaching Greek is not simply about grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation. Greek is a language full of history, emotion, stories, traditions, and culture. It is a way of understanding how Greek people think, communicate, celebrate, and connect with one another.
I want to share my knowledge because I truly believe that learning a language can open a door to a whole new world. I want my students not only to speak Greek, but also to understand and appreciate the culture behind the language.
Through my lessons, I bring Greek culture into the classroom and create a learning experience that is practical, meaningful, and enjoyable.
My goal is simple: to share my love for the Greek language and culture and help others discover it for themselves.

Why learn Greek with me?
Learning Greek is so much more than learning vocabulary and grammar. It’s a way to connect with a beautiful language, culture, history, and way of life.
With over 10 years of teaching experience in both the UK and Greece, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and of different ages and levels. I believe that learning a language should be engaging, practical, and enjoyable.
That’s why I use a cultural approach in my lessons. Alongside speaking, reading, and grammar, we explore Greek traditions, everyday life, food, music, history, customs, and the expressions that make Greek truly unique.
Whether you are a complete beginner, want to improve your speaking skills, or simply want to feel more confident when visiting or living in Greece, I will tailor the lessons to your goals, interests, and learning style.
