Σχετικά με την Mary Lou

Hello! I’m Teacher Mary Lou a dedicated educator with 10 years of full-time classroom experience in elementary education. Over the past decade, I have helped hundreds of students transition from struggling readers to confident, enthusiastic communicators.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. My decade in the classroom has taught me that a student’s "struggle" is often just an undiscovered learning style. Whether your child is a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learner, I adapt my sessions to meet them exactly where they are.

My Areas of Expertise:
Foundational Literacy: Phonics, phonemic awareness, and decoding for early readers.
Reading Comprehension: Moving beyond the words to understand themes, inference, and "the big picture."
The Writing Process: From basic sentence structure to crafting compelling multi-paragraph essays.

Hi! I’m Teacher MaryLou, and I’ve spent the last 10 years in elementary classrooms helping hundreds of children discover their 'lightbulb moments' in English and Language Arts. I know how frustrating it can be for a child to feel behind in reading or writing, and I’m here to help ease that stress. My approach is patient, fun, and tailored specifically to elementary-aged learners. My goal is to make English your child’s favorite creating a supportive environment where they feel safe to take risks and grow.
